What’s Included:

  • Gala Dinner for the Graduate
  • Graduation Gown and Mortarboard (a rental deposit [refundable] is required)
  • 1 Individual Stage Photo and 1 Group Photo

Registration Details:

  • Graduation Package RM 800* per graduate
  • Family / Guest RM 450* per person.
  • Closing date: 31 March 2026

Up to 50 graduates only, on a first-come, first-served basis. Kindly check with SCMPC on your eligibility to participate in the graduation.

      Frequently Asked Questions

      CIPS Graduation Ceremony is open to all members who are currently MCIPS and have achieved this via the CIPS Advanced Practitioner (Corporate Award Programme).

      Please note: to book a place, you must be a current MCIPS member. Membership status can be checked on the CIPS Professional Register. Upgrading is simple, you can upgrade to MCIPS here (please allow up to six weeks for your MCIPS upgrade to take place).

      The CIPS Graduation Ceremony is a celebration for members who have achieved MCIPS via a CIPS recognised programme of learning.

      Those with MCIPS are recognised globally as procurement and supply professionals. Being MCIPS signifies that you have attained a level of knowledge and understanding, based on the professional level of the CIPS Global Standard in Procurement and Supply, and that you have three years relevant work experience in procurement and supply role.

      Being MCIPS provides assurance for your employer, peers and clients that you have continued to build on your academic achievements to stay relevant and up to date.

      Your achievement has been recognised by CIPS based on your experience not a learning programme. The CIPS Graduation Ceremony is a celebration of successful completion of a CIPS recognised learning programme.

      The Graduation package is inclusive of the Gala Dinner for the graduate, graduation gown and mortarboard (a rental deposit [refundable] is required) and a photography package that includes 1 group photo, 1 individual stage photo and 1 photo with your guests. The Graduation Package costs RM 800 per graduate and guest tickets cost RM 450 per person.

      Arrangements can be made for anyone attending the graduation ceremony, either as a Graduate or a guest who may have accessibility requirements or other needs. If Graduates or guests have accessibility requirements, please contact us.

      We suggest that you wear smart business dress. The gown hood has a loop in front designed to hook over a button which keeps it tidy and in place: it is easier therefore if you wear a shirt, blouse or dress with buttons. We politely request that jeans or t-shirts are not worn.

      Graduates will be seated in the front rows on either the left or right side of the hall. Family and friends will be seated a few rows behind the graduates. They will be issued guest tickets, but specific seats will not be assigned.
